Here's our Holiday Tips Part Two with some simple advice to take note of when travelling.

1. Hide your valuables.
There's the obvious risk of pick pockets while travelling, but also be aware on flights! Be sure to secure all your valuables when flying - especially if you plan to take a nap on a long haul flight. Keep all your possessions safely tucked away in your bag and keep it close to you.
2. Drink water.
To make jet lag less of a problem when on holiday, drink plenty of water when travelling and once you arrive at your destination.
Even though you think a cup of coffee will wake you up, avoiding caffeine and alcohol will help you overcome jet lag quicker. So it may cause many trips to the bathroom, but stick to water.
3. Wrap up.
Wear your heaviest jumper or cardigan to travel. You can simply wear the jacket if you get cold or use it as a pillow to have a short nap.
There's many purposes you could use it for, but ultimately, carrying it with you will save space in your suitcase.
4. Match your clothes.
To avoid taking too many clothes, most of which you'll never wear, try and make all items match. Pack more neutral colours, such as whites, blacks, blues and browns. You'll be able to pair the same few items multiple times. Giving you lots of different outfits out of just a few pieces of clothing.
It might be hard to leave your favourite dress at home, but you'll have much lighter bags!
5. Read reviews.
Don't go travelling completely clueless. Read reviews of destinations you haven't visited before. Look for recent comments and photographs of countries, hotels, tours and more so you know more of what to expect when you get there.
