So here are 5 airport tips to help make the few hours leading up to your journey as stress free as possible.
1. Check in online.
It's useful to check in online, as it will save you some time at the airport. This might not make a massive difference, but you can also choose your preferred seats online. This way you can make sure you're as comfortable as possible on your flight.
2. Keep passport close.
Pack all your important documents, like your passport and boarding pass, easy to reach in your bag. This way you'll be able to get to them quickly and have them in hand when checking in and boarding the plane.
3. Get through security quick.
Be prepared for security by knowing what you will need to do. Know what electronics, liquids, etc you will need to take our of your bag.
To be even more efficient, you could start taking off any jewellery, belts or shoes. This will prevent you from fumbling around when you reach the front of the line.
4. Bring plastic bags.
Put your toiletries in sealed plastic bags inside your carry on. This will get them through the security check in your bag. And in the nightmare of bottles opening, you'll be safe, as the liquids won't leak all in your bag.
5. Set an alarm.
You can get distracted when browsing through the duty free or just may not hear the announcements. As an extra precaution, set an alarm on your phone for your boarding time just to be sure you don't miss your flight.
